15 too young? 6 Months ago
I probably should have just continued this under the "Age Requirements" post.. But I wasn't sure if my question would be answered.

I have about 6 kids on my team who are 15, almost 16. Would we be able to come to wars without parents? We're mature enough. We can get the waiver signed and get that to you next time we see you. I was wondering where I could find the waiver at though.

Also, if it's a problem I have an uncle who's really into airsofting who i'll probably bring to wars with me.

Thanks,
Mooner

I don't know if I am correct, but you can come to wars if you are 15, just not major events. I'm 15 and come to the wars.

First of all how old are you?
You need to get sponsered by an officer to play with NUAC and the waiver forms are under tool / waiver. How many players do you have and how many are older than 18 years old?

Last Friday we held a war-council where we had a chance to discuss the influx of younger players and how we will play with them.

As a result of that meeting, in order to participate with NUAC you will need the supervision of an adult. Now, that means you can bring an adult or try to find an adult already in NUAC to fulfill that role.

The best way to participate would be to find an adult who wants to play as well--that way you'll have a ride to and from the match.

Hope that helps! Looking forward to meeting you!

Thank you hunter!

I'm a bit confused though, I know NUAC stands for Northern Utah Airsoft Coalition. But, do they run all of the wars/events that happen? Or are there other teams that sponsor events. Or retailers such as WB?

Mooner- We hold events, other groups hold events also- cva-cache valley airsoft in logan hold events, our rules are pretty close in the overall- they also want younger players to come out but they also require the younger players to have supervision either parents or be sponsored in by an active member.

Hope this helps

If you and your team do come out to a game make sure you bring a waiver signed by each person. You will need and adult/guardian to sign the waiver to and will need to be present when you give me the waivers. I am the person you need to get the waiver to. You can give it to some other NUAC officers as well, just in case Im not there.

If you are regulary playing with NUAC you should sign one.You only have to sign it once and it will last about a year. Then we require you to sign it again. Plus if we make some changes to the waiver you might have to sign it agian.
